Complex Thinking Play
CatDad is doing research. Lulu was depressed, because he was not allowed outside. It means he would not eat his soft cat food, even though it should be his favorite. CatDad did cat play research.
What Lulu, our smart cat, is missing is his outdoor complex thinking problems. Lulu likes to pounce mice in the Potentella bush. He coyote pounces a spot, and then, he hunts for his mouse.
CatDad made a new game. He set up a towel folded over on the bed, and he pulls his string through that. Lulu has it down, so CatDad has to change the game every once in a while.
CatDad was using pillowcases, but with CatMom watching them play, he pulled out a big towel.
When Lulu has had play and intellectual challenges, he settles down, and he does less of attention getting behavior which is destructive. Right now, he is on my hip - what I mean is he is laying right beside me while I write. His body lines up with the computer on the right.
When CatDad is done folding a few laundry pieces, they are playing again.
