I added one. Just a sec.

So, in my photo consolidation, I have my pics from France. I will peruse them and decide if I feel engaged to select one to make into art. You need to feel like it, whatever you do. And I might have missed one. Or one may have gone missing, because some did. So, I will go over France, and see what is there, and if I feel like doing something new.

Unity

When a woman carries a child in her womb, while she does, she walks in unity with her unborn babe.

When a woman has given birth to her child, and she picks up her child, they walk in unity.

When I grab my cat, and we move, we move as one.

I am here, thinking about the ways unity impacts movements.

It has to do with navigation. How do you move? And do you move as one (with more than one), as you navigate your landscape, or circumstance?

For My City

Dear Rachel Notley and P.M. Justin Trudeau,

As a wife and petmom, for Rachel Notley and Prime Minister Trudeau, thanks for helping with Calgary's BMO reno.

I feel like this is a good plan. And I agree with my Mayor Nenshi that a hotel near the BMO center is a good idea.

And thanks Mayor Nenshi for taking care of Calgary, as you do.

Also, I caught the Amber Alert.

Greetings,

Donna.

Nesting March 16

What is the time? Is it spring?

It appears my girl sparrows have laid eggs in the hood vent next door!

That means perhaps that our Easter/Passover special feast days can be accompanied by babies.

Yes. The boy bird is guarding the hood vent. The girl bird went inside to build her nest. And she is looking out at me.

Yeah God. It's so awesome you load spring with babies.

Baby chicks. Sparrows.

I may be seeing flock use. I think there's more than one mom putting her babies in that vent. That hood vent is very important to the flock. This detail will need to be confirmed by observation. I just said hi to another girl bird.

Today is March 16. I am very happy that we have chicks to listen to.

Artist Signings

I just realized something, as I finished the booklet of art.

James Wharton signed James Wharton with his year of production.

And he signed with JWS. That means James Wharton Selkirk. I think that is a division of Liverpool. I know he lived not too far from the woman he married. It was such that they met in that community.

Is this something that we should do?

Donna Munro Calgary.

James Wharton Selkirk.

JWS

I may adapt some variation on the art. I may do that on my art. Or I may do that also in Hebrew. Where is that C?

Fire

For the few here, I am preparing a few fire photos.

It will take a while. I am just getting started.

As to allergies from candles, I had 24 going.

Some might expect a smoke invasion.

Blended into the light landscape, these days, I have quite a lot of battery based candles. There is a switch over.

Rather than burn the floating candles, I will see if someone else might like them.

When I burn a birthday cake candle holder, the net effect is not a bad effect. So, something is different about the other night.

The visual effect of floating candles appears like lava. And the impact on the water was that it was hot. It was not tea hot, but very hot. Eventually, the wax made a near one inch layer on top of the water. And when wicks began to fall down, I blew the last few out. I let the overall layer cool, and later, I threw it out.

There you see most of the candles I made a display of. Now, I will go for the ones which don't have a wax which I don't care for.

When I first began writing about this topic stream, it was for managers of apartments in Europe. So, for those building managers, who want to keep fires out of the buildings, here is my advice.

1. Candlesticks must have a fluted bottom.

2. Get stearine or clean burning wax combination recipes for the candles.

3. Invest a little education in those who want to make candles. Soy candles seem to be good.

4. For candles which come not fluted, I recommend fluting them with a knife.

My cutting board was just a couple feet from where the candle event happened. That explains why I did not blow them out to cut them. However, in this little story, perhaps I should have blown them out. It was within 2 feet of where the candle fell out of the holder. And I was right there when it happened. I did not have to move very far to fix it. I moved a couple steps. The context suited what I did. However, after this, I began thinking if you do burn candles, you ought to know where the fire extinguisher is. That is something to think about.

I don't particularly care for walking with candles. It's not amazing. Once you do set your candles up, you don't want to be moving around much. They need to stay put.

As to the concept of floating candles, it was attractive. I will look around for a better floating candle. I need to get a few ideas of what is out there.

Take this, and bring whatever you need out of it for you Apartment Safety Plan, pertaining to the use of candles in your apartments. That is why I am writing this.

Is it not bizarre that I burned an entire box of the non-fluted candles, and it was the last 2 in the box which fell out of the candleholder? I find that odd. Then, I wonder what difference there was between how hard I pushed the time before and this time. I need more than muscle pushing the candle in. Wax needs to go. And with cutting the bottom and all, you need to be aware of size. You need the base of the candle to still be tight in the candleholder. I kind of measured the base of the candle holder, and I cut the candle base to its size.

My countertop is not flammable. The flame had no impact. I am sure that may vary. Mine had no impact. Were I an apartment owner, I might like to know how durable the counter was.

I am closing off here, for those who came.

Have a nice evening.

Allergies from Candles

Yesterday, I lit a set of candles I've had a long time. Something about that set of candles caused allergies. Normally, I have none. A person ought to watch for particular products that they do not respond well to. I got a headache, sore eyes, and problems with breathing.

Basically, you need to monitor your candle products for what works for your home.

Ikea works for me so far.

I used an air cleaner to clean up the house air. I had the kitchen vent on, but my husband kept turning it off. Setting house habits for whatever you do helps as well. It was not till I identified the issues he also realized he was suffering. Then, we cleaned the air, so we could both feel better.

Rolling Lit Candlesticks

I use candlesticks from Ikea. I bought the bulk pack of 48 or 60. Yes, it lasted a while. The bottom of the candlestick would not fit into candlestick holders. To get them in, I forced them in by pushing. I did that to the last two. And other candlesticks are fluted. And these are not.

I had them on the kitchen counter. I lit them. They were all pretty ablaze. Well, both candles fell out of the candlestick holder, and lit, they rolled across the counter.

I was near, and I grabbed them. On fire, I took them to the breadboard. I used a knife, and I cut the flute into the candle, and I put it back in the holder. I did this for both. And then, they were fine. I should have started cutting the flute into them at the first.

Had it not happened on the counter, things might have turned out differently.

Two lit rolling candlesticks going across my counter. Can you see it?

When you have fire, you must tend the fire. I was tending the fire.

It appears to me that Ikea no longer carries these types of candlesticks. If they do, I will remind them of the value of the flute on the bottom end of the candle.

When I would use muscle to get the candlesticks into holders, it would scrape and peel up the sides, and reduce the candlestick base most of the time. It was never fully satisfactory. I prefer fluted bottoms on candlesticks.

The Meltdown

So, there's a computer. It's super old. The machinery of it is old. But machinery is machinery.

8 years ago, my husband had a little problem with it. He fixed it. He gave his computer box etc. some tender loving care. I inherited the box.

It was now mine. Anyway, it began to melt down. And I called my husband to bring some TLC to the computer. And he did. He gave it 20 minutes. He looked around. He cleaned a bit. He turned it on.

"It ought to be good."

Anyway, 8 minutes after "it ought to be good", it began to melt down again.

In the midst of meltdown, which looks like hanging on a step, I turned off the computer. I told my husband, it's not as simple as that. It needs to be opened, diagnosed, and treated.

So, the computer was laid bare on the kitchen table. And CatDad and cat operated. And CatDad used an anti-static strap. And together, they looked it over. They found manufacturer defects. Yup. And they fixed them. And some part was added. And it was late. He left it on the kitchen floor.

The next day, CatDad my husband comes home. I moved the box in place. It was ready to go. It just needed connection. He connected it. And it launched. And with a wish and prayer, and a cry of breakthrough over it, it started.

And now, it is one of the productivity boxes I own.

In former days, I had music and work on one box. Say I had music on. With the power required to drive music, and also work, the interface froze and fell apart. I improvised. 1 for music. 1 for work. That made 2. And you know, you find a need for another. And so on.

That is what is up. 1 machine runs music. 1 runs work.

And I might like certain pictures of toolsets on a machine which belongs to me. And that's why I get licenses. However, I don't work on all of them. I work on 1.

Back when the machine was melting down, I asked my Father in heaven for my tech angel.

And when the machine melt down, there was no indicator it would come back. The fix was exploratory. My husband did exploratory surgery. And the machine came back. And a prayer was launched at key times. And CatDad and Cat had a project. And the project was about 5-6 hours. Anyway, whatever they did worked. Yeah, CatDad and Cat. And thanks to my Father in heaven, who watched over it all, and he sent tech angel help along the way.

5-6 hours is a long time to work on a project. CatDad really did need his friend. And he told Lulu all kinds of stories about what was going on in the computer. "Can you believe that, Lulu?"

And so on. Together, they solved the problem.

Kitchen Box

I made a kitchen box. It is for recipes. It is for maybe health. I doubt it. It is for basic service.

It is for guests. It is for that kind of use you might invite a guest to. It reminds me of a those kinds of boxes offered to guests at hotels. Here you are. Look what you want up.

And it is not connected to everything else, but a printer. It gets no connection. It would be a fail to bother getting in it. I don't plan to work there, except to hunt a recipe.

Kitchen box. Now, I have one. And for that box, I will learn how to make guest accounts. And that is so my profile is not used for anything public. I will make a public type of setting.

It is limited care. I don't have to do a lot to it, but do basic stuff. Kitchen box. I examined what administrators do. I will do that, for that box. It gets limited privilege, but it is a port.

And I will carefully keep it to that.

Were I to put anything on or with it for right now, it is just recipes.

Just suppose one were to break into it. There would be nothing to see, but my bread recipe. And do you know how to make bread? Well, ask a neighbor. Save time.

When you see show homes, and they have little nook, this thing fulfills that purpose. It could be used for bible searches. We will see.

Do you have a little nook in your kitchen? And do you use it for what it was first set up for? And were you to, did you imagine looking up recipes? Houses hold dreams and expectations, in the way they were first designed. And this fulfills a dream. It uses that spot the way it was first designed. That is a sign I have ordered my home.

Sidenote: I finished most my candle stocks. I am starting to make them.

I won't be hooking up every computer spot in my home. I made my home for a full family. And then, we did not have children. However, the baseline options here are meant to carry a family.

You know it never hurts to have high hope. So, tech setup is all over here. And one day, a future family will realize the perimeter of set up. That's okay. I made one little spot fulfilled. And that is enough. Part of the dream of the home floor plan included a tech spot. What I like is now it matches the picture of the dream home I planned from.

James Wharton Folder

For the one here, you are on the folder. Refresh.

I have new things.

Will Do

I've not told you a story, but I hope this will do.

I will get to the story tomorrow.

The Smoking Wick

If you blow out a candle, and the wick smokes ongoing, blow with wet. When you blow out wet breath, the candle gets coated, and instantly stops setting off smoke.

It works for tealights. It works for candle wicks.

I don't want to smoke my interior.

I am merely setting up clean burning.

Update: I burned them under the oven fan. That fixed it. And the oven is a more heat safe place.
