A New Generation

A new generation.

Today, I sat at my window, and I had quite a few birds on my tree. A bunch left, as I had coffee, and looked out over my trees. One stayed. A female sparrow stayed, and came close to my window. She came up, and close. Anyway, a male came. They (males) are fighting. They are chasing each other around. It is mating season. The girl bird who was close would have a boy bird come close. And she knew. She would flutter her wings slightly. And it was like this was a message. The boy bird came. The two united. And then, he stayed closeby for a minute. And then, he went back to nearby trees (also part of my tree network).

I watched a new generation of little birds get started.

Baby birds flutter their wings, so adult birds of the flock feed them. Now, I also know girl birds flutter their wings to tell their boy bird they are ready.

Hmm. I left the window when she was still close. Little friends.
