The Lu-cat Has a Tent

This morning, I was inspired to change up Lulu's morning. CatDad too, I guess. I will start with him. CatDad decided to place my hair elastics - likely ones we should not have been using - up on Lulu's scratching post tower. CatDad did it a couple times. On the second time, CatDad did not get his thumb out the way fast enough, and Lulu pinned him to the cat tree. It was a little injury. He checked it out. These things happen really fast with a cat like Lulu.

Then, Lulu was still rambunctious. I used a blanket - the kind you warm up with these days in the cold weather, and you keep on your sofa, and I put that on the top of his cat tree, and I made Lulu a tent. I did this to distract him from scratching and wrecking furniture. I tend to react quickly, to prevent him from establishing habits. I invited him over, for he sees under furniture, and knows everything which goes on. It took a few seconds, and he was there, and I made him his little tent.

Lulu has been in his tent, investigating its benefits and keeping warm. He's been on top of the cat tree, which he always does, and had to react to a blanket sort of wrapped around the whole for his descent. He is still figuring it out, so that's good.
