A Reader Response

In the news today, there's an article about government regulating Facebook and Social media for the upcoming election.

I don't necessarily despise the idea. However, while you are up there protecting your data and reputation, protect the rest of ours. Get rid of the trolls who make fake Facebook sites, to replicate legit identities. And get rid of the accesses which permit fake Facebook voices from stepping in on top of people's profiles, who chase the account to get the latest messages, and do financial abuses/privacy abuses/harassment on the social media sites.

If you are in there to protect your identity and reputation, protect ours too. How about that?

When writers from Canada write something, in other nations, and I will be kind and not name them, troll farms sit. They sit as paid employment, and they see what is written, and under their fake profile, they write.

I searched the Internet. I searched a term. Zip. It was nowhere.

I wrote an article, put in a brand new word that I made up in English. But we know I am multi-lingual, so it may have had flavors or nuances of being that way.

I launch the article.

6 minutes. It took 6 minutes for a troll to write a competing article.

Yup. And who cares? Oh, and they used my word.
