Bathing Plants

Yesterday, I bathed my plants. I read a protocol online, from a blogger, and I did the same.

Having done it, if I could do it again, I would. I had not thought of bathing plants. You get rid of dust, dirt, decomposition (for it floats), and all. You let the plant dry up outside.

I have brought my garden inside. I had to rearrange the house to do that. You don't just have a garden squished in. You have to arrange it, to bring the whole into balance and order.

So, for all the insects which crawled up my arm, I saved them. I lifted, scooped, etc., and blew them up and away. I am too loving hearted to consider that my house change has to negatively impact little lives nearby, those who share my common spaces.

I had quite a few different insect encounters. I met two spiders. And I decided to leave them their house. I will clean that pot in a month, after they are done their life cycle. They considered my pot a good home. That kind of touches my heart. And so, manner of little pet, the pet gets to stay.

I didn't type it. But it is good to note that if you leave pots outdoors, and you set them up as a good house, most likely, the house will get adopted. So, look before putting your hand in.

No spiders climbed up my arm.

In a month, when I clean the pot, I will wash the pot. That pot will be remaining outdoors. I just like clean pots. I've got a thing for clean pots. I found a pot which was being misused to store things. Eventually, I will organize the stuff in that pot, because I know what a pot is worth. A good pot is expensive. If you can recognize the traits of a good pot, you should fill it with a good plant, of an appropriate size. Plants create oxygen and cleanse air.

Now that I have bathed plants, I am into it. If I ever were to have an insect problem again, I would feel comfortable doing it. It is medium level exercise. It is a workout.

If the pot had been horrible inside, all gross, I do not think a spider would have chosen it. You pick pleasant places as a home. I like to provide the pleasant place to land. I feel honored the spider chose it. I like that pot quite a bit myself, but I did not have the right plant for it. And it's cute upside down. When you buy things, you are not thinking of secondary uses. I think that pot makes a cute base pot. And you put a pot of lighter weight on top of it, and make cute little structures like ancient Greek towns. It had that look.
