Cleaning Up

For a time, I burned many candles. By burning up candles, I increased house space, for I had likely oversupplied. Today, I do not have any oversupply. I know where to get things. I have marked where the good candle supplies are, because I would not have a shortage of light.

Don't get rid of the Bay. They still have good light. They have some bad light too, cheap things, but they carry the good light. It's nice to be able to find some good light.

Lord, keep all the remaining Bays in Canada, ⛳🤵📛📿

I don't mind having them. They produce light.

Along with this hobby, I was experimenting. I was experimenting with the production of light. I had a couple fails. Here is one.

Around the tub, where I had fancy light, candelabras and so on, I had wax fall. My wax fall went on my tub, the tile surround, the floor, and a very limited amount on the counter.

I use free tile as a candle bases.

That would save a lot of issues.

What happened was: Wax fell, and created what looked like a grout line on the tile. It actually looked like grout lines. I had several. It could have sat there for 20 years, and noone would question it. However, we are the installer. I said to my husband, "I do not recall that we did that grout line."

He said, "Neither do I."

"Well, let's check it out."

It was wax. And it went nearly to the floor in an unbroken line. There was another drop which did not reach all the way to the floor.

Yesterday, I used my fake fingernail appliance to clean the area up. You know, every once in a while, you remove everything and clean up around, and reorder, and make things pretty. You like to see the pretty color of your tile. I did that. And I removed and swept up the wax.

A little was on the floor. I found the fake fingernail particularly useful for pulling dust out of corners in the bathroom. It pulled out dust and wax. And it pulled out the kind of thing which gets set like it has clay in it, and does not want to move, except for by harsh cleaner. The harsh cleaner was the fake fingernail.

My floor looked better. The wax and dust was lifted. And the place looks good. I kind of like the new install look. I still have a few things to tend to around there, but it is pretty, and sets the tone of the room.

About the wax, check your grout lines, where you may have had candles lit. Check to see there's no candle dripping which has split the look of a tile. And get the wax off.

My wax was white. And with a little dust over time, it gets disguised.

The thicker the wax is, the easier it removes. A good quality candle wax is a little thicker. It ought have some substance.

Those are my thoughts. I don't know where in these thoughts there is a code. I need to steep.

Dorian footage: There was a day where I left my door open in a storm, and water flooded the kitchen along tile grout lines. The vision of what looks like is what Dorian looks like in aerial footage over the Bahamas. It's like the roads are grout lines. Land elevation, slant or tilt would make a big difference where water gathers.

The same wind which brought the water is also largely accountable for clean up. The air will pick up a bunch of the water later. The time is what is inconvenient. You can't necessarily wait for the wind to pick up the excess.

After hurricanes, watch for sinkholes. I expect that some areas where the ground is not highly compacted, the water may force pressure and create potential sinkholes. I am telling you what I am seeing, not what I know. I don't know. I am seeing things before me.
